Feng Shui, meaning "wind" and "water", is defined in Wikipedia as an ancient Chinese teaching that shows the methods of activating the life energy existing in nature in the living spaces. Feng Shui is actually a huge teaching in itself. It encompasses everything you can think of from the zoning, architecture, location, door, posture, window, to the interior of the house. It is actually the science of energy and vibration. Energy is both inherent in nature and we are responsible for everything we do.
This can be described as a world of "don't get what you sow". Or we say "you reap what you sow". When something happens, it creates an energy field in the universe and it never disappears, it never disappears, it just transforms or can be consciously transformed. The principle of cause and effect or like attracts like works in the universe, every moment and every minute, forever. In the old days it used to be said that "grandfather had a bad tooth, grandson had a bad tooth", we have such a proverb, but now the results don't extend to the grandson, the concept of time has changed a little bit, it has been bent a little bit, the evolution has accelerated. The result can now be down to a minute. The totality of energy immediately starts affecting those who caused the event. The person who did it and his lineage are also affected.
Blue beads used in Anatolia, evil eye charms, horseshoes hung in doorways and on the walls of houses are now known to attract negativity and then resonate with another object to spread this energy. Even if it used to be done intentionally or unintentionally. Otherwise these shamanic objects are not meant to protect people.
The thoughts of the people who come to the house about you can permeate the objects in the house. Or your conversations, arguments, fights, sounds emanating from television, internet, news, negative energies emanating from action-adventure-horror or sad movies, your negative thoughts can penetrate into the objects and never disappear. That's why old things, antiques, used things, furniture, clothes are very dangerous, even if they are left by the family. If they can be washed, they should be washed well, with real natural soaps and homemade vinegar. These negative form waves can vibrate and resonate with the energy of the space and broadcast. Therefore, the house should be fumigated once a week with dried herbs such as sage, bay leaves, olive leaves (I have written about them before). Or incense should be used every time after a negative event, a fight or a tense situation. In my childhood, incense used to be burned in funeral homes. Precisely because of these form waves, prayers for blessings and evil eye prayers were hung in the houses. Evil eye beads too. Because when this process is done, prayers or evil eye beads hung with good intentions emit a positive energy. Therefore, visible objects placed in the doorway or inside the house with good intentions absorb negative energies, resonate with the space and emit positive vibrations.
Especially during sleep, when the conscious mind stops and the subconscious and unconscious mind takes control, the mind vibrations emitted resonate with all objects, objects and furniture in the house. The crowdedness of the surroundings, the noise, the abundance of objects and furniture have a very dangerous and negative effect. The mind vibrations that are emitted bounce back by hitting all these objects. The fewer things there are in the house, the calmer the mind becomes. It is important for the house to be comfortable and spacious, to use few objects and to be spacious. Dust and dusty objects tire the mind and soul, you wake up in the morning tired and not rested. In fact, nothing should be hung behind doors, stairwells should be filled, and there should be no stacked or piled items in the house.
The bedroom should be especially spacious, comfortable, light and odor-free, if possible without a mirror (or in the right place). The top of the cabinets should be empty and there should never be too much stuff like suitcases, suitcases, etc. Absolutely the beds should be empty underneath, box spring and sliding beds should not be preferred, nothing should be there. Such crowded objects can resonate with the form waves of the mind and turn even our dreams into nightmares. Unrestful sleep, unrestful mind affect our mental and physical health. The mind, which should rest until the morning, gets tired from bumping into dust and objects. You may wake up tired and unrested, even irritable.
In my recent research I have come across something that saddens me the most: the vibration emitted by books and especially encyclopedias. Because millions of pieces of information vibrate, they resonate with our minds while we sleep at home. There was no problem with the positive ones, but imagine millions of negative information and vibrations. I don't know if having the library in a different place, away from the bedroom, behind a closed door is the solution, but there is no place for a library in feng shui. This is probably the reason for the heavy air of the huge and centuries-old libraries, which are probably one of the first places I visit all over the world...
In this case, it seems like a good idea to give the books we read to friends, both to make room for new books and to share knowledge. In this way, our books are no longer displayed as ornaments, but are put to use.
