Everything exists with its opposite, and according to the principle of the unity of opposites, betrayal and unappreciation are inherent in human nature. We have a saying: "Have you no enemies? Then you have never done any good!" I think it is even a bit worse: "Don't think you have no enemies, do you have no brothers?"

There are contrasts in human existence. Like love and hate, anger and serenity, loyalty and betrayal, appreciation and unappreciation.

The Chinese sage Laotse left his hometown because goodness was gone and evil was rampant throughout the land. While he invited people to beauty, they had become his open enemies. In one of his ballads, Bertolt Brecht describes Laotse's legendary exodus as "because evil had become strong again". The Buddha, thought to have lived during the Laotsu period, was the target of deadly attacks. He was repeatedly subjected to evil and violence. His favorite cousin drove the angry elephant Nalagiri on the sage. He only wanted the salvation of humanity, just like Jesus Christ.

Jesus was crucified after being betrayed by Judas, one of his 12 most trusted disciples, in exchange for money from the Romans. "One of you will betray me," he said at the last supper, resigned to his fate.

Moses, who had rescued them from Pharaoh's oppression and set out to take them from Egypt to the "Promised Holy Land", faced the persecution and oppression of the Jews many times. He left his wife, children and family for this cause. During his 3-day ascent to Mount Tur, the Jewish people, including his own relatives, plotted behind Moses' back. Aaron and Mary incited the Jews against their leader and Moses narrowly escaped death by stoning. He angrily broke the 10 commandments he had brought down from Mount Tur.

The more we get to know humanity, the more we understand, the more we see the injustices they commit, the more we realize their hypocrisy, the more we witness the weaknesses of their character, the more we realize that this has never changed, that it has been going on like this from antiquity until today, and that it will always go on like this. We lose our faith, we lose our hopes and we grow old day by day.

However, in such situations, we need to manage to spiritually distance ourselves in order to protect our own souls. In order not to hurt those who don't deserve it by reflecting what you have been dealt with. Otherwise, there is a danger of falling into the same trap and offending those who can still be trusted, who are still worthy of being loved, who have not forgotten shame, who have not dulled their conscience, and wounding them like you and making them "despair".

Sometimes you feel that the biggest betrayals and the most elaborate plots are hidden behind false smiles. In such cases, there is a deep desire to challenge those who have stained your life in such a way. I accept all this, but still. Love is actually accepting everyone and everything as it is. Love is actually walking your own path. Perhaps it is not out of place to question what you call betrayal and unappreciation. Otherwise, you would be very surprised to learn that Namik Kemal, whom we know as a patriotic poet, jailed his friends to the sultan...

Still, although we never know what awaits us, the only way is to heal and transform private or public betrayals, and not to despair, but to open beautiful and peaceful "breaks" for ourselves and for the whole...
