How you fall asleep at night, what you think, how you feel, continues until the sun rises, until you wake up. In other words, feelings, emotions and thoughts continue in the same vibration until you wake up. Even for this reason alone, we have to intentionally and deliberately focus on our thoughts and feelings before we go to sleep and create awareness. We can do this through prayer, imagination, directing thoughts, making positive plans and dreams. Every night before going to sleep, it is imperative to make positive plans for the next day, to want, to dream, to imagine, to visualize; in the meantime, we need to purify and purify ourselves from negative emotions, thoughts and fears. The last feelings and thoughts we have at night and the feelings and thoughts we have when we first wake up in the morning determine what we will experience and feel throughout the day...

Again, we need to pay attention to the direction of lying down. The first way of lying down should definitely be towards the right side and as we wake up, we should turn towards the right side as much as possible. Because when lying on the right side, the right nostril is blocked and the left nostril is opened. Breathing through the left nose stimulates the right brain hemisphere. Thus, the activities of the parasympathetic nervous system increase. Heart rate slows down, blood pressure decreases, gastrointestinal activities slow down. The heart gets less tired and it is easier to fall asleep. As a result, there is a better chance of spiritual, mental and physical rest. While this has been known traditionally and religiously since time immemorial, the relationship between the direction and shape of sleeping and the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems has now been scientifically demonstrated.

When lying on the opposite side, i.e. on the left side, the left nostril is blocked, the right nostril is opened, the sympathetic nervous system is stimulated, a state of excitement and fear is created, the heartbeat accelerates, blood pressure rises, excitement and attention increase, and it becomes difficult to fall asleep. The result: Unrested spirit, mind and body.

Sleeping on the back and face down tires and wears out all internal organs. Since the two nostrils are open on the back, the parasympathetic system cannot be stimulated and the gastrointestinal system becomes unbalanced.

The way of sleeping that scientists persistently recommend: Sleeping on the right side and like a fetus in the womb, bending the knees and pulling the feet towards the abdomen...

While the way you go to bed, the position you sleep in will become a habit, in the meantime, practicing imagery, prayer and mindfulness for the next day will seriously change and improve the quality of your life. After saying "I'm canceling right now" any egoic, negative thoughts that come to your mind, deliberately replace the negative with a positive emotion.

As important as all these pre-sleep realizations are, the first minutes we wake up are also important. Even before you get out of bed, notice your hands, arms, feet. Loosen your joints, wrists and feet with light, gentle movements, stretch and stretch. Keep your eyes fixed on one place so that your spirit and body come together. Never get up with a start, give yourself some time, losing a few minutes can make the rest of the day comfortable and peaceful.

Even do your prayers, devotions and meditations first thing. Purify and find peace before you start your day. Maharishi puts it this way: "Do you ever go shopping in the market without taking your money from the bank, without putting money in your wallet?"

Even in the next stage of preparation, when you are doing your morning routine of cleaning and getting ready, try to be calm and serene and stay in prayer and meditation. When you brush your teeth, look at your image in the mirror, step into the image, look at yourself. Into your eyes. You will shudder and be surprised. Then say to yourself, "I love you (Ayşe, Ali, Ayten, etc...) I love and accept you as you are, you are precious! You are safe! You are in Balance!) and keep your mind busy with these and similar affirmations until you get dressed and go to work. Don't leave your mind empty so that it doesn't go for what is easy. THANK your feet, your body, people, birds, insects and flowers and TELL THEM YOU LOVE THEM...

"We can stand on poles as high as we like, we will still walk on our own legs; we can sit on the highest throne in the world, we will still sit on our own ass. The best mirror of our thoughts is the course of our lives." Says Montaigne. It would be best to thank our own legs and produce beautiful thoughts in our life mirrors...
